You should ask Sandy 'The Guvnor', I think he does MMA, Cage Rage or K-1 can't remember which one it is, if its any of the above. Not sure whether he does it for the Paras or not though.
Don't pull face's, it means nothing to me I can't feel a thing. You must drive forward.

Boxing yes and if you are any good you will get well supported. I was in the Regiment team but I am pretty sure MMA etc is not recognised or practiced officially in the Army.

Judo was of course but that may be too tame for you mate.
It's all in the ground work, strangle holds and arm locks have a levelling effect I always found.

You cannot officially compete in MMA while in the army but this has not stopped me from having close too 100 pro mma/k1/kickboxing fights.

Never was really in to the belt thing myself but found it did not matter how hard people say they are, they tap out all the same once the strangle or arm lock in put on.

Met a few cage/MMA men in my travels, hard men. In fact one of the men on security at my work brings in he's mates fights on DDV for us to watch. He use to tell me about Lee Murray, until he upset a few blockes.

Anyway one of them makes the mistake off upsetting a pickey. Cage man, etc gives the traveller and few bangs. Problem was the pickey did not go in for rules to well and bit the fellas nose half off, not sure what belt he was after that but he lost interest in the fight and the pickey.

Full respect to the few and I mean that.

First chap looked like his brain was not communicating with he’s arm. Bet he will feel it latter.

Must be honest the whole cage thing is just to raw for me. Maybe that’s why I was just a hat and not a Para, just never had the killer instinct.

I see a little Judo in this video, how he's neck is not broken I just don't know.

Kimbo Slice does ok at fighting bums with zero skills at all, but anyone half decent batters him.

I was wondering this my self as I've been doing MMA for a few weeks now and really not looking forward to it stoping when I join the army.
But i guess ill just start boxing and try to hold back from droping them to the floor and getting them in a arm lock lol!
