scots in the paras

Are there many Scots in the paras just wanting to know because my pal thinks that most of all Scots join the royal regiment of Scotland or the guards . We are Scottish btw :drinking:

:lol: funny mate but seriously is there many, my uncle was in about 10 years ago and said there was a lot of them is that the case today or have they just all joined Scottish regiment???

There was a good selection of men from all over the country and quite a few from other countries. It should be remembered that Scotland has only a fraction of the population of England so of course there will be many more from south of Border. There again it brings up the question just what is Scot or an English man as the two are so inter married that if the family tree is given a good shake all sorts will fall out including mine.
