What is life like on a day to day basis once you get to battalion?

It vary from company to company and just depends what training is required and what the next battalions job is. A job can be deployment or a military exercise some where, or get general training and keeping up your fitness, but you soon drop into the routine and after a while you will not give it second thought.

So is it a bit like 8-5 day? Also what's the crack with sports, because ive heardfrom some people that it is encouraged but from others that the reg dong like you 'getting out of work'?
