Suez-Sinai Crisis 1956 - looking for contact with veterans

Post by cjareck »

I am Polish historian currently interested in Suez Crisis 1956. It is not very popular conflict in Poland so it may be a good idea to do some research on this topic. I managed to obtain some books, articles and even some archive material (protocols from meetings of British Government). But I would like to get in touch with veterans who took part in this confilct and gather any relations from them. Not only from Paras but also from other units.
Is there anyone who can help me in this matter?
Sorry for my English, but I do not have much possibility to write in this language
Greetings

Hi Mate,

My Father was a Grenadier and was based in Egypt from 1952 I believe? 2nd battalion! received the Suez medals and so on. He is still alive and has many stories on engagements there.
