Does anyone recognise this man?

Post by OrganDonor »

I came across this photo & was suspicious: if anyone can allay my doubts, please do.

He is wearing C95s with a 1PARA DZ, yet no wings(?), para belt & is wearing the rank slide of a Major... & is that an EARRING?
His name is Paul Walmesley- does anyone know him, or of him, or is he another Walter?

I am glad to see that he still has his teddy bears and other toys to play with when he gets fed being a Major in 1 Para.

Can't really see a Major in the Para's posing like a Walt in his bedroom, and thats an Ex bootneck talking,so he must be a WALT.Send the query to ARRSE they are the walt experts.

Have to admit, the word WALT crossed my mind as soon as I saw the double chin, never mind anything else...
Looks like a complete pillock to me!

Sure it won't be a massive surprise that no, he isn't a major with 1 PARA (science fact), and judging from that picture, he never has been. If he's actually claiming to be, you can forward details onto ARRSE, particularly The_Duke, who used to do a good line in Reg anti-walt ops. If he's simply taking airsoft pictures in his bedroom, I'd just roll your eyes and let it be.
