Its on the new parachute regiment recruitment dvd, I had the dvd in the post yesterday for some reason even though i never requested it. It comes with a dvd of everything from thinking about joining up to ADSC to training to P Coy and life in the reg. And then there is a cdrom for your PC which i havent looked at yet.

Great video, enjoyed it.
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

good vids
Before you insult someone, first walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you insult them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes.

u see Bruce Willis flying that Chinock at the end there? Blink and you miss him, just after the fella says "....make sure everyones alright..."

Does the reg do exercises that r as decent as that often? Or is that just for recruitin purposes?

It was a sh*t exercise!!!

Even our CO said it was one of the worse exercises ever. :o

To be perfectly honest the best exercises are the ones you do in depot. Fully tactical, loads of ammunition, good scenarios, proper orders with models and its obvious alot of effort goes into those exercises. You just dont get the same feeling about exercises in Battalion. Most of the blokes feel its a ballache going on exercise, whereas in depot i used to love it...didnt have to press your uniform or shine your boots for days which is why i liked it! :P

Overseas exercises are good though. From the blokes who have been abroad alot i gather its quite different from UK exercises. Plus there is usually some R&R to be done, which for the guys who went to Kenya was in South Africa!! 8)

Still looked good though!

Was that the build-up training for Afghanistan where John Reid turned up and said that he thought the tour could pass without a single shot being fired??
