There is a new book that gives the photographic history of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.
It presents the imagery of land, sea and air operations, the personnel, equipment and activities of both the Allied and German combatants. It also gives original insights into the stories behind each image drawn from archives in the USA, UK, Canada and Germany.
