Hi All
I am currently reading Dusty Warriors by Richard Holmes.

He has enjoyed great success with his book, Tommy, prior to the one above, and I just wanted to know if anyone on here has read Tommy and/or Dusty Warriors, and what your thoughts are on these books, as well as the Author?

I haven't read any of his books, but have watched him on TV quite a lot.

He was an officer in the Army and is now a professor. I particularly enjoyed his 'War Walks' series. An enthusiatsic presenter (reminds me a bit of Dr Magnus Pyke), I remember him donning armour and taking part in a joust!

Just reading Dusty Warriors , and it has started off quite good. I like the way that he has quoted alot of people on their feelings at the time.
