If any one is looking to read a good book , then I would recommend any Hunter S Thompson books. But for a first time reader I would recommend The Rum Diary, as he isn’t your usual author and that book is probably the best one to get to know his writing style.
Also the book has been made into a film which is going to be released at the start of next year. Jonhny Depp plays the main character.
