Royal Horse Artillery records

Hi all, I am trying to track down information about an old soldier & wondered if anyone might be able to advise me where to seek out the records that I wish to find.
Michael Redmond married in Devon in 1872 & he was then a serving soldier in the Royal Horse Artillery Regiment based in the Barracks in Topsham, Devon.
His 1881 census shows that he was actually born in Dublin about 1843 and he & his wife went onto have children born in India, Woolwich in Kent & Birmingham which must reflect on Michael's military movements.
Does anyone know where I might be able to track down his army records please? I am particularly interested in his enlistment papers.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.
Thank you,
Jan

Try ancestry.com they have a pile old records including the military. If you book on for just a month ill cost you about £13,00 and you have military records, medal cards and a whole load of other stuff for you trawl through. Once have joined for a month you can access these records as much ass you like for the month
