Hi English Rose.
I would hazard a guess that you already have a list of all the various BFPO sorting offices. ie Ships, Garrisons etc. I would suggest that the letters to Squaddies from the USA and else where be forwarded in a separate envelope addressed to one of the above and let the sorting office do the rest.
Just a thought
Aye

Hi darling, mwa mwa, here`s my two pennorth
Last year we sent "Red Cross Food Parcels" to various Bootys out in the sand. Mike sent someone a packet of lettuce seeds and a bottle of water, as I recall
Normal BFPO arrangements do not pertain here in OZ and there is no reciprocal agreement between UK and OZ govts. Therefore, I had to pay normal,( i.e. full) air mail parcel rates to the BFPO in Iraq. This was actually more than the cost of the goods. My local friendly postie was very helpfull with several dodges when I showed him what I was sending.
If this is the situation in US of A, then be very carefull what you send.

We're just unsure now whether mail needs to be addressed slightly differently if it's coming from the States.
Most definately not. If she is having difficultys with the local P.O. get her to go to a main P.O.
Loverly peeps but a wee bit er, dense is our Elmer
