i Bought and read the book. i too heard the rumors about cowardice but reading the book puts things right.
though i didnt like the style, it felt like i was reading fiction.

if it was fiction it would be slammed as unrealistic. What people deem to be realistic is based on the norm but SF does not follow the norm.
but my original post was about the style rather than the content. Content was good but i would have preferred a different style.
