ex serviceman wishes to join rm

does anyone know whether someone discharged from the armed services for disiplinary reasons can apply to join the royal marines.

Am sure SNLR covers all three services, Am Army but have done recruiting so am pretty sure of my facts!

as far as im aware the discharge was snlr,what i would like to know would he now be inelegible for joining the rm because of his past history.thanks

SNLR covers ALL services, you will possibly now have a civil record so this will prevent you joining the RM. You need to be a bit more upfront about the offences and how serious they were.

STILL very vague, was he convicted, charged, sentenced? Did he do any damage to those he was fighting with, was he the instigator? Is he now banned from driving, did he casue an accident? Your not letting on much.

Colina, he needs to go back to his AFCO and ask the RM advisor. I think if he has been SNLR'd (which is usually the last resort of the Military before legal action) then his chances are very slim of being taken on by the Corps.

The question was can he join????
The answer no matter how you slice it is NO he was SNLR.
Regardless of the offences!

This question has be asked on two threads now asked and answered.
