McGinnman is not me, but he does make some very pertinent points, and gets my vote for 'MF Man of the Year Award'.

I see that censorship is still in full swing, unless you are one of 'the pack'.

Wholley, why should McGinnman not say his piece? Artist rambled aimlessly about nonsense in two posts, using foul and abusive language without comment from you.

Consistency and parity. Not much to ask.

McGinnman, if our paths should ever cross, I'll buy you a beer.

Guys we're taking it all too seriously again!
Take the site for what it is, get the best you can from it, but stop digging in and slagging each other off.

Surely by now we can all see that trying to "force" the population of the site to behave in certain ways isn't working, so just get what you can from it and don't let the rest bother you.
It is a real shame, in my opinion, how the site has changed in terms of discussions and so on, but things change, not always for the best...and we live with and move on, in one way or another.
People who cling to the past tend to become part of it.

I belong to a few other forums. Tropical fish, holidays etc. I visit them all at times, then don't bother for a few months. Truth is they all go thought this "things are not like they use to be, I’m leaving and the like."

Some people just like to keep on boring everyone with how crap they think the place is, why they left and how better they are now.

If you are happy fine, if you can improve the place then please contribute. Otherwise why not set your own site up or go find a place you would be happier at.

This site is going through a lean patch... with the old 'squabble-threads' being dug up at regular intervals allowing the main protagonists to shit stir again

Nowt much on here worth reading anymore mind... Some of the bad 'slagging' threads have been deleted too.....

Some of us are lurking in the shadows though and hoping things will improve.......

In the meantime, a question. Does Harry Hackedoff post on ANY site these days (under a new/different name presumably)? Whatever site he's on, it would be interesting to see how much he contributes and how much that has resulted in new contributors joining in the banter.. That's one of things that's been missing for a while now. (Appreciate that HCR may have had an issue with some of Harry's 'banter'....

A) I've never shagged anyone in the Army.
B) I've had plenty of real contributions to the site. Want me to list them?

Met and hosted Marine Wannerbies for many weeks. KiwiBen and EuroAndrew will agree.

Artist, me and my lad attended EuroAndrew's Pass Out last January at Lympstone.

Doc spent a week here doing a course in Winsford. I ran him around. He was a great house guest.

Wholley has visited a few times. Great bloke. Patience of a saint.

Mike 90 has spent a weekend with us. Fantastic, clever young man as is Stokey.

Loz and Flo are great mates and have visited many times.

Sneaky Beaky will support me in my claims.
