25 is it to late

I am 25 now and A will turn 26 in June I have was told that the uper age limit for joining was 26 but does this mean if you are 26 you are to old to join or does it mean when you hit 27 you are to old to join any info would be great.

not at all mate, when i did my training there was a 28 year old. we all took the p!ss a bit because of his age, however he had the last laugh as he went on to become the kings badge man.

I thought the upper age limit is 28, maybe it's 26 for officers - do you have aspirations?

Regardless; things are always up for discussion, don't let the pamphlet put you off.

there was a 32 year old austrailian plumber in my troop, he's an LC now!
Forward Troop - CLRRM, Viking Operator and Maintainer. Viking Support Troop out in The Ghan.

So recruitment officers can use there own discretion when selecting recruits

Aspirations, well the only one at the moment is to become a royal marine commando but I am still undecided about even that.

32 is absolute upper age limit but would a thirty two year old really want to spend nine months at Lympstone with forty young lads all under twenty? :-?
