Final ex was the best exercise I ever done. The only bad bit was picking up brass after a troop attack. We would fly in by chinook dead low, land then attack a farm house. Everythink felt like the reel thing until after the 're-org' we would have to collect all the brass.

Anyway, good luck with final ex, and enjoy it.

P.S. do you have binks in your troop, a welsh lad?

You were lucky, when our Shanks' Pony died we had to pick him up and carry him back along with all the brass :D

They couldn't afford Rigid Raiders raiders for us either, so to begin the exercise we had to stand in groups of 8, jumping up and down while being hosed down with salt water.

On the Evac, there were no Helos available so we had to speedmarch back to CTC with our arms spread wide and spinning round every 4th step while shouting Wokka Wokka Wokka non stop.
Archie.
