how can officers join the special forces?

i know that as a lower rank you can put yourself forward for special forces selection but as an officer how can you join?

Almost exactly the same way, apply for the course and pass it. Slightly different requirements (leadership skills etc).

They are expected to do the same course, if you are leading your men you will have to keep up with them, their again if they don't do the same course where is the respect going to come from
