Medical waiver

Hi chaps
I've been training with army reserve for last 3 months and my medical came back saying I've been
Rejected as had a splenectomy 25 years ago. Before I joined I phoned on 2 occasions to army recruitment and was assured I can join as my spleen was removed from trauma.
I'm a personal trainer by trade and a fit healthy bloke and Really enjoy the drill
Night training and really want to be in the reserves . I would appreciate any advice from anyone
