Medical worries.....

Post by Wednesday22 »

hi! I got my selection weekend coming up, all paperwork done & dusted, just waiting for my medical forms to be completed by GP....
Slightly concerned... I'm 100% healthy, not on any medication, sporty etc.... Went through a spell of depression many years ago... Worried it may affect my medical... I know the army are very strict but considering I've been stable for years and worked for emergency services for 4 years, which, they obviously wouldn't have employed me if I wasn't a stable person, do I have reasons to be concerned? Also, if it did cause an issue, could I appeal? Thanks!

Don't worry about it and yes, I believe that you can appeal.
