You should get a letter from your unit stating what you'll undertake whilst there and a list of kit you'll need for the three days. You'll perform:

an ice breaker

Physical tests including 2.4km run and test of upper and lower body strenght. Basically it's all the same as the regs, have a scout round the forum for this info.

Team Tasks

Aptitude test

Written tests

Military equipment lesson

Recruit selection day at Exeter

Cheers for that buddy.

The recruitment Sjt at Glos TA told me that we only go down to exeter for the day. Travel fri night then do everything on sat, come back the sat night.

Has this changed recently then.

He said medicals are now done at unit before you even go on a RSD.

Bloody hell we came back Sunday afternoon.

Saturday was a day of beasting assault course twice, 1.5 mile run, night patrol etc etc then sunday we did a 5.3 mile CFT (practice) with bergens. My feet ended up proper blistered, so when i go for my first actual weekend I shall be taking zinc tape and a thin pair of socks o wear under the crap issue socks :D
