Been offered an earlier date and took it, going to start my TG Sep 20th instead of Oct 25th, the mrs is going mental about it but I figured I may as well get the 29 weeks out of the way now. I'll keep everyone posted with a trainning diary if I get spare time, cheers for the support everyone

Fair play mucker, you were right to take it though. Not very often that people get in earlier than expected. It is only a few weeks after all!

How's the TG going then Tommy?
When I did what was then called Gunner Trade Training at the Regiment Depot at RAF Catterick about 30 years ago it was only 12 or was it 15 weeks..I can't remember exactly. Suffice to say 29 sounds like a lot and is double or more than double what we did way back when.
