Living Off Base

Post by Macleod »

Quick question really. I'm hoping to join the RAF Regiment and I was just wondering whether or not it will be possible to live off the base once I get posted to whatever squadron I am posted to. I thought it was but I just wanted to get some clarification.

Once you're out of training you should be able to live wherever you like. Social life's usually pretty good on base, but it's nice to be able to go home and get away from work, cook your own meals etc.
You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.

And the life that I have
Is yours

Lots of advantages to living on and off base.

Dont be in any rush to move off !!!

certainly early in your military career a big part is the camardarie which comes with working and living as a team :soldier_armed_comeon1:
So you want peace ? Freedom ?
