hello everyone i am writing to ask if anybody could tell me what they think about my run times so far as i am applying to join the paras and have got a medical within the next 4 to 6 weks,at the minute im doing 5.5 mile 5 times a week and im putting some step and hill work in every 2nd time i do it last time i tested my mile n half it was 9. 08 but i can only do 40 to 50 press ups at a time and 45 sit ups at a 45 deree angle just started to get some swimming done aswell as im not the best at it if anybody could give me some advice or opinions i would be appreciated.

Yep sorted. If your getting that time now on your own, no doubt you will be pushing harder when running as a squad - therefore it will be quicker. you wont be doing decline sit ups. Just go for it hell for leather and you will be ok.

Play football and give 100%, Do swimming frequently and work on your leg muscles in the gym.
