Ok I can follow the running plan but the push ups/ sit up part is a bit vague

https://www.4para.co.uk/index.php?optio ... &Itemid=56

Everyday there is a run to do, either a jog or fartlek over 3 different local routes. Thats fine.

But how does it suggest train for the push ups or sit ups? It just says Main event 60 or over in under 2 mins. Does that mean just spend 2 mins every day banging out push ups/ sit ups? And also no mention of heaves?

Anyone in the know like to clear this up?

I've been training for the regulars mate, and have been following this:

http://hundredpushups.com/

There is a link for sit up's too.

If you don't fancy that, just bang out 4 sets of 20, and work upwards. You don't want to be maxing yourself out everyday.

I test myself twice a week, best effort 2 minutes on both. You definatly want to be doing heaves too mucker. Do the same thing as above, 4 sets of whatever you can do, then test yourself best effort a couple of times a week!
