After you apply for the transfer, you'll have to wait for the next recruit cadre's CIC to begin. On the Friday of the first week, you'll go up to Catterick and then just join the lot that have passed CIC and are ready to do P Coy. That starts on the Monday morning.

Er...

As a trained (TA) soldier moving to a para unit (NOT 4 para) you wont have to do the basic bits again, just go into the unit, get your trade, do P coy & jump course.

Thats what im doing anyway. Not touching a recruiting team.
