A lot of lads on my PRMC were talking about that... I much prefered this site though.

Yea, I've been part of that community for awhile. It's decent, but a lot of kids goofing off and whining for the most part. They don't have someone like Artist to knock em down a notch.

Well I remember looking in on it when it first got up and running and I'm sure Grey Wing (who got booted off here) was one of the Mods so maybe that's why it was set up for all those rejects from over here?

The PRMC forum is a worthwhile forum, the same as this one is. It is currently in the process of being officially run by the recruiting officers, giving advice and guidance to potential recruits as required. A good idea, undoubtedly.

This forum (MFAT) is also a good worthwhile forum and has many members who post some great stuff, to do with recruitment, training and practically everything else.

All kinds of people post on these forums. Some are friendly, some are hostile, so its all about finding the balance.

At the end of the day we are given choices in life. The PRMC site is just another one of them.

These forums serve a purpose. They are not set up as competition to each other, but more so they allow people to have a choice of which one or more they like and choose to post on. There is no us and them, in reality they're all us and are looking to acheive similar positive goals.

If you like a forum you join it, if you don't you don't.

That's it really guys.

Cheers

Steve

Same here... think I was one of the first to join up but never went back more than twice. no where near the depth of info you get on this site.

In that case, it should turn out to be very good, although perhaps more formal than here.

If you ask me, .prmc.co.uk is much better than this site.

There are serving RM's, RM recruits.

mod's that have served in the forces.

No Ad's to make the site look confusing and messy and it is just for potential Royal Marines.

Wasnt Grey Wing a RM?? dont think hes really a reject from this site.

theres one thing both sites have in common, they are both used by the ill informed and it's quite irritating. Just accept that they are both sites with a similar purpose... to assist young men like ourselves trying to get into the military, with the main difference being that PRMC is dedicated to only the marines and RMR

The other site is actually pretty good and has an actual careers adviser from the AFCO so obviously the advice you get from him is genuine and not like half of the sh*t that gets written by idiots that know nothing about nothing
PRMC 25th July 06 Passed
RT 18th September 06 929 Tp
MD'd after week 19

now in process of joining RMR
