Hey good luck Andrew I'm sure you can crack it now. You've gone through hell for 8 months, don't let 30 miles beat you! Best of luck and hope you get to the end!

Good luck bud. Although you'll be well into it by now.

An oppo of mine was in a troop that covered about the same distance but it was clagged in and they had to sack it for the day - next day they all did it again with very few failures.

Fingers crossed anyway - at least you've had a warm up 8)

Ahhh your doing the little known Commando Test known as the 52-miler. Only a few have done it and most pass, otherwise you will be doing the 74-miler which is just silly really

Dig deep and crack on Royal

Holy crap mate! You marched 22 miles at fast pace yesterday and tomorrow you have to march 30 miles at fast pace. If you pass that I reckon it would be more impressive than passing first time round.

Don't panic about it mate, you'll crack it, no worries. I remember 2 lads in my troop both got pulled out at 26 miles and then both cracked it the following day on woodbury common, which will obviously all be familiar ground to you and will be a bit less punishing terrain. Dig deep mate, best of luck, it's well worth it when your stripey hands you your (probably HLS resembling) new green lid!
