Good fooking effort mate
Did you have a runny snozz when you were down there? (cold) Bet it's a massive weight from your mind
Don't let up on the training and wear those boots everywhere you go (no running) and keep on top of them as they'll be your B boots in training so will be your best friends on Woodbury
Well done mate

Well done TomClarke, it's a great feeling when you find out you've passed isn't it
What did you enjoy most, and find hardest?
Also how many were in your group and how many made it?
Darren82, what do you mean by "B boots"?
Cheers, ofens

I was on this one too. Taken a while but I finally got down there! Enjoyed it and I'm experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms today. I would have been quite happy to crack on with rt there and then.
Found the first day comfortable-8.44 in my run, 55 press-ups, 70 sit-ups, 6 pull ups and completed the bleep test at level 13(they wouldn't let me do anymore!). Second day is hard no matter how fit you are cos they push and push until you're completly hanging out. Agree with TomClarke that Gym Test 2 was the toughest part. We got to miss the sprints because they wanted to beast us instead, but I would rather have had the sprints.
The best advice I would give is to really get your cv cracked. Upper body strength and leg power are important but it's really your ability to perform when knackered that makes the difference.
-oh yeah, just thought I'd add that one bloke wrapped after the death slide and before the determination test even began...I thought that showed a slight lack of determination on his part!!

I was Blue 14 in room 7. I was the one that left the Navy before going for the Marines. I think you're the bloke I might have spoken to on the train home, is that right? You had a stupidly fast PJFT time?TomClarke wrote:WHICH ONE WERE YOU EDDIE ? WHAT ROOM WERE YOU IN?
WHEN YOU STARTING RT?
I don't know when I'm starting RT. I'm going to get on to my AFCO tomorrow. Probably some time in January.
