"My friend wants to know"

Then why doesn't your friend look it up himself - If he is trying for any armed forces let alone an Officer in the marines he surely doesn't stand a hope in hell if he cant even be bothered or find the resources to find the requirements himself!!

Which brings me to one of two conclusions

A) You should advise your friend accordingly to look for another career

or

B) For a reason beyond my reckoning it is infact YOU that wants to know and has in some rather school boy manner constructed an imaginary friend as the reason for asking.

MADNESS.

But in answer to your question - as far as I am aware the requirements have not changed recently and so they should be on this site (use the search facility) otherwise the official RM site will have them!

If he's lazy then there is no point in trying for the forces? If he can't motivate himself to get off his arsem the how is he going to lead men from the front?

also, why does't he train wirh wirh youm you both have avommon goal, and his fitness is at the same level as yourself (ready to join RT) then RN taining isn't going to as taxing is it?

check the site out - I'm sure there's plenty on the RN board and the RN webstie.

Is this the same friend?

by god, he is lazy.

He's got all this information at his fingertips and he still posts through you. Can't he phone his AFCO? That's what they're there for.
