Clothing on exercise

Post by darrenrugby18 »

On exercise, especially in the winter months are you allowed to wear thermals and extra pieces of clothing under pussers stuff? or is it at the discretion of the training team? whats people's experiences?

Cheers.

You have 'warmers' kit in your issued kit, that you will take in the field. You will have a norgy top, its like a tight polo neck thing and i remember having some lovely looking (but very usefull) green longjohns, and you will also have a fleece. Add to that your goretex jacket and trousers.

Apart from that i dont recall being able to take any of your own stuff into the field, but each training team may be slightly different and also in phase 2 things may change slightly.

im my troop we were allowed to take a top such as a helly hansen and wear this under our jackets, i also wore some thermal cycling shorts on the last ex as the dry up faster than underwear and obviously keep you warm, just depends on your training team
