30-miler on Blue Peter, this Monday and Wednesday

Post by Brian- »

Just thought I'd let you know that Blue Peter will be showing one of the guys doing the 30-miler with the marines on Monday and Wednesday (23rd and 25th) at 5pm on BBC1. Should be good...

I have had a look on the BBC web site but can't see anything in the schedule for this.

Anybody got any idea when it will be shown?

Iv had a search and can't find anything about it, it said somewhere they had already done it! From what I can make out blue peter is on every day at 5pm? That's all I know.

I usually watch to see if there's anything good on, so I'll just let you know when they give a date for it. It's definitely on because they showed a clip of it.. :D

I was flicking through the channels a few days ago and rememberd this post so I thought I'd check it out just incase, and it were about these two people in blue clathes with blue painted faces sewing the presenters clothes up :o Not really my cup of tea. But having said that a few months ago I found a blue peter annual, which must have been one of my sisters (I have 3!!), and it showed how to make this action man endurance course for the mainres and showed a few pics lol and a few years ago it must have been, I saw one of the presenters doing a parachute jump with 2 squadren RAF regiment, and I knew it was them because I was in space cadets.

Hahaha I don't know what the hell it is, I nicked it off some one else!

It's vaguely familiar, some sort of kids cartoon from years ago?

Hmm the Irish bird.. you sussed it!

Blue Peter have shown quite a few RM things over the years - I remember someone did the PRMC, someone else (or maybe the same guy) did the Endurance Course, and Tim Vincent was in Norway with them once.

They actually had them in the studio a couple of months ago doing some piss-easy assualt course, bit of a waste of their talents.. think the hardest bit was jumping over a 6ft wall!
