ROYAL MARINES MEMORIAL PARADE (GRASPAN)
The Mall
London

Many readers of the Globe & Laurel have expressed their wish to have dates of the Annual Memorial Parade a great deal further in advance so as to give those from overseas an opportunity to arranged their return visits to the UK to coincide with this event. Since this parade continues to attract more and more marines from every corner of the globe, it seems sensible to do just that. Of course, any dates are subject to change, dependant upon what else may occur in London with little or no notice. However, to help all marines wishing to take part we have provisionally booked the following dates :

PROJECTED DATES
2002 Sunday 12th May
2003 Sunday 11th May
2004 Sunday 9th May
2005 Sunday 8th May

We hope this is of assistance to those wanting to attend the parade and to witness the tremendous improvements carried out on the Royal Marines National Memorial in 2000. Any enquiries please to http://www.cityroyal.co.uk or visit us via http://www.civvie-street.co.uk, where you will also find photographs of the past two years parades and other items of interest including our 'Cityroyal' newsletter.
