Regiment Fitness Test

Post by Tomm0123 »

Got my regiment fitness test comin up and just want to know what minimum requirements are.

Got told by a recruiter that someone recently did a 9.30min run, 40 press ups in a min and 40 sit ups and didn't pass.

This was a massive shock as I have thought, up to now, its 10.30min and about 20 of each.

My question is, is the information he's given me correct or is it 'scare tactics' to try encourage me?

Cheers for any and all help cos its put me really on edge :S

Cheers for all help, really put my mind at ease.

Just have 2 more questions and you then become gods in my book. :D

The running - is it a manual treadmill or can I ask for it to be set to a passable speed
Sit-ups - can the PT pin my feet down or use a bar etc or not?

Test is next week, currently doin 55 press ups per min and 45-50 sit ups (with feet under sofa, hence the question).

Thanks for any and all help and I'll post back after my test
