PGAC attempt

Post by buck91 »

hi, i just come back from my PGAC course and it was f**kin hard.

I failed due to an injury on the ped skirmish. (my right shoulder)

The 3mile run is 2X1.5, on the first 1.5 you do it with the PTI's what takes about 12.30 mins, then yu run the other 1.5 best effort on your own what should be under 10 mins.

The PTI's told me that they only take the top 25% and on my course only 9 made it.

I now know how hard it has got to pass and my advice to people is to never give up and practice leopard crawls :)

Unlucky mate, better luck next time.

Have you been given any indication on how long you'll have to wait for your second attempt?

I was given a PGAC date of 18th Jan 2010 back in July but have since been told I need to pass a PJFT before I am able to attempt PGAC. I was told that should I fail to pass PJFT my application will be put back 6 months! I am therefore assuming you're going to be in for long wait before you can go again.
Application: 11th May 2009
AST: Passed 7th July 2009
Interview: Passed 13th July 2009
Medical: Passed 30th July 2009
PJFT: Passed Nov 30th 2009
PGSC: Passed February 22nd 2010
TG: ???
