Board of Officers

Any one been up before a board of Officers, I am Going for a job and have reached this stage , anyone know what sort of Questions likley to be asked etc.
I have been on O.C.s and C.O.s Orders but that was for promotions and
Boll.....er Telling Off,s
any help /advise would be appreciated

Is this like a precommission board? if so, what level, Unit?

Have 'done the boards' so to speak.

Normally a panel of 4 to 5, with one ossifer in charge.

Depends on what you are applying for, but normal routine is to ask about where you have served, what are you doing now etc. Then questions 'out of the blue' to see if you can think on your feet, what your opinions are on a variety of subjects. They are basically looking to see if you are a 'good egg'.

As for tips, the normal stuff - look them in the eye, be honest and don't undersell yourself - good luck.

Thanx for the tips ,Iam going for the NRPS job at my unit, (TA inf), apperently ther are 4 others all Regs or Ex Regs , I am The only TA going for it probably cos most of our seniors are somewhere SANDY
