How did this thread get from 'Hearing Problems' to 'Running?????
I'll add my penny's worth and bring it back to the original theme. A relative of mine who did his time in the Irish Guards (spit! spit!) and his last ten years were spent in the Oman as a weapons instructor to new recruits. Anyway a couple of years ago he decided that he was getting hard of hearing and asked the British Legion to take his case up with MOD. This they did and after many interviews he won his case and in July last year he received a lump sum of Five Grand and a monthly TAX FREE PENSION of Two Hundred Pounds. Incidentally his hearing is no worse that mine> :evil:

Thru'pence ha'penny worth of original irishspit spent in Oman was a hard case to free a hump worse than yours
Am I missing something?

Have a skeg under the retirement and pensions boards for more info - hearing is virtually impossible now but....................
