Passing Out Parade

Hi I am wondering if anyone can help. My son has passed selection and is due to start basic training on 20th July 2014 I am wondering if anyone will be able to tell me when his passing out parade will be (approx) as my husband is planning an overseas work contract from which he wont be able to return and he doesnt want to miss our sons passing out parade. Is it 6 months from the day of starting? Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Most of the basic training in the Army now takes around six months

You'll get a letter shortly after he starts basic training with everything you need to know.
