Hello guys, Calling Blackwatch soldiers!!!!

Hey guys, ive just passed selection and im due to start basic training at Catterick on 1st November. Im from Stornoway in the Western Isles & and im joining 3 scots (Blackwatch). Im a bit nervouse about basic but i say bring it on!!!!!

Anybody who has that date to start & also any current serving Blackwatch soldiers on here then let me know. Cheers

well done mate, I’m joining the Watch as well, start training on the 10th January though!! How have you got a date so soon?

Cool, im not sure how i got a date so soon but i was very very lucky, i was told i had applied at the right time, if i had left it any later i would have to wait until next year like you.

The Black Watch.............what a great Regiment. Just saying the words makes me proud.

I have the medals of my uncle who served in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
