Training sites.

Post by waynepe »

I have looked around a fair bit and not found a post containing exercise and fitness related posts to help people get ready for the army so I decided I would make one.

Not sure on where exactly to post this as it has ( And hopefully will have more) links to other sites. So could a mod move it to where it should be if here isn't correct.

First of all running, being a very important part of fitness, deserves first place. http://www.mapmyrun.com/ This site allows you to map out a route to run quickly and easily. A quick print screen and copy paste into something like paint and you have a map to run.

Next you have all the different muscles and how to stretch and train them. I happened across this site a few weeks ago and I find it quite helpful. http://www.exrx.net/index.html

If you have any others please add them below. Also please don't post comments that are not providing links to other helpful sites because otherwise the useful links get lost under a load of comments.
application form : done
BARB test : passed 82
Medical : Broke my wrist so 12 months wait before reapply.
