have you only just started doing exercise? do you drink enough fluids and are you of excessive age? could be a number of things really, but its not a real problem as such unless it causes you discomfort or pain. if it does or starts to you should see your doc, if not then try making tunes with it?

Hi mate, I have the same problem but with my shins, they crack LOTS and it sounds bad but it does'nt hurt.

It usually isn't a medical problem unless it hurts. Try taking something like Cod Liver Oil to lube your joints up lol.

My advise, don't push yourself hard, your way too young.
You have plenty of time to get fit and your still growing so take it easy.
Not meant to be insulting Tom so don't take it the wrong way.
You do not want to end up in Hunter when you get to Lympstone.
Just my two cents.

Tom I get the same thing and another friend of mine has it too. As people say theres no pain caused by it so its nothing to worry about. Try taking cod liver oil tablets and sometimes if I re arrange the position of my hands it helps.

That's probably quite normal mate, especially with a new exercise.
Take it easy to start with, you're still growing so don't over do it :)
Good luck and enjoy your training. You've got all the time in the world so take your time. 8)

no girls do it the same as males but girls dont have to do as many as males...my advice is work that same muscle group but in a less intese way untill you gather enough strength to start doing pushups
Initial intrest form: Complete
B.A.R.B: 61
Medical forms: Cleared
2nd Interview: Passed
3rd Interview: Passed
ADSC : 17/03/2010 - Passed
Intake: 19/09/2010 - The Rifles

yea thanks, I've been doing press-ups with knees for ages and not bad at them, but I can barely do 2 proper pressups. Have been doing a lot of dips off a chair and dorsal raise etc... have ADSC next month so need to keep on it
