Still here, currently a fitness instructor/personal trainer for a large health club. Looking to join 7 Rifles TA as soon as I can, see how that goes and eventually get back into the Marines. Too busy at work to keep looking on here unfortunatly.

Still around, still slaving away in a warehouse (big fridge!) for Tesco.. Still bored.

Having lost over 2.5 st after starting there, i've put a bit back on (blubber) and due to my shifts can't re-join TA as I'd like.

I tried for RAF Regt Aux about 2 years ago but wasn't accepted, I've no idea why though!!

Still looking for a job with more suitable hours to give TA one last bash.

Start tomorrow with my plan.. Just running and walking to begin with, 10mins out 10mins back. I'll build it from there.

One good thing about my job, it's either 6-2 or 2-10 so I've plenty time to train!!

Alex, have you tried one of the specialist units?

Two weekends a year, plus annual camp IIRC. Surely you can fit your shifts round that?

Haven't been on here for a bit - been busy hitting the gym and chasing women (not literally). Just finished uni, so going to go the AFCO one day this week to get my application for the Royal Marines on the go. Wish I did it sooner though and am now sitting on my arse all day in my parents house, applying for every job in Liverpool and Wales but getting nowhere, so i'll probably be on here a bit now.

Hey TT,

Have looked at Specialist units, but I'd still have to do the initial 5 weekends or so, perhaps the the Army foundation course (2 weeks at a depot, instead of 5 weekends.) Then the 2 weeks at end of recruit training.. I don't have enough annual leave for that and too much debt to just say Sod it! and do it..

HAve put any thoughts on TA into background until I can commit the time. Handed too job applications in today, by hand, so hope to hear something soon.. Slowly slowly catchy monkey!!

Started my training programme today... Only 10 minutes out and ten back through local woods.. All uphill first half.. Ipod banging Dragonforce Power thrash fantasy metal into my head.. Great stuff.!!

makes me wander why I let myself slip out of the fitness in the first place!!

It is quiet. The number of bone questions has decreased somewhat. To the post title...

I'm sitting final year A-level exams. Working part time at Morrisons. Applying for full time jobs (got an interview for a Sales Consultant for Phones 4 U on Friday, fingers crossed - I've told them I've always wanted to get into sales hehe). Got an RMAD July 8th, then PRMC September 2nd. Should have a joining date in November if all goes well. Training my arse off!
