Just wanted to say "HI!" as a new guy here with a little info about myself. I am in the US of A, with Ohio being my permennant residence.

I have never served in the military but spent 24 years as a Law Enforcement Officer. I do suffer from PTSD though.

I do "Living History" on the side and am definetly interested in the Northern Ireland and Falklands Wars.

Thanks again, and please don't be TOO hard on this Yank.

Hi Mac, ex-police myself. Thirteen years in central London. Also had PTSD twice, once in 91 then again in 95.

Also ex-RAf Regiment (similar to the old USAF Combat Security Police)

what was thirteen years like in Central London? Did you guys use SLR's while on guard duty?

Henderson County NC.
I was a Sheriffs Lt.

Where is Henderson County by the way? How many men did you have in your department (Full-time only)? I was with the Summit County Sheriff's Office here in Ohio until I recieved disability via PTSD.

Western NC.
Up in the mountains close to the Tennessee line.
Ninety full time deputy's with civilian support.
Spread that # over 290 square miles,we were thin on the ground.
Did you work the Dupont shift up there?
