The Holocaust removed

Post by Mike »

I received this as an Email today..... Pass it on to those who you can.....

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

Edmund Burke

It is a matter of history that when Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps, he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.

He did this because he said in words to this effect: "Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the track of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened"

In Memorial

This week, the UK removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it "offended" the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it.

It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the 6 million Jews, 20 million Russians,10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated.

Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be "a myth," it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.

I smell bullshit

Harry's right, it's just yet another pathetic internet rumour which a lot of people seem to swallow without ever engaging their brains.

Rather than this being a case of PC gone mad it's more likely another fine example of far right propaganda.

I smell bullshit too. If it's in an unsolicited email, it usually reeks.

Another E mail offering - this one should fly a flag -

-----

Don't Say You're English

From the Queen's Royal Lancer's Website:

Goodbye to my England, So long my old friend
Your days are numbered, being brought to an end

To be Scottish, Irish or Welsh that's fine
But don't say you're English, that's way out of line.

The French and the Germans may call themselves such
So may Norwegians, the Swedes and the Dutch
You can say you are Russian or maybe a Dane
But don't say you're English ever again.

At Broadcasting House the word is taboo
In Brussels it's scrapped, in Parliament too
Even schools are affected; staff do as they're told

They must not teach children about England of old.

Writers like Shakespeare, Milton and Shaw
The pupils do not learn about them anymore
How about Agincourt, Hastings, Arnhem or Mons
When England lost hosts of her very brave sons.

We are not Europeans, how can we be?
Europe is miles away over the sea
We're the English from England, let's all be proud
Stand up and be counted- Shout it out loud.

Let's tell our Government and Brussels too
We're proud of our heritage and the Red, White and Blue
Fly the flag of Saint George or the Union Jack
Let the world know - we want OUR ENGLAND BACK !!!!

Now that makes my fish taste better .....

This from the Daily Mail:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/a ... ge_id=1770

I think in balance I'd listen to the BBC; the Mail has been exposed so many times for sh1t stirring of this order I'm surprised people still buy it, remember this is the paper that though Hitler was doing a great job getting Germany back on track and we (England) could learn a few lessons.

This from the Times:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/u ... 600686.ece

Not that I think The Times is much better that the Mail but it seems to be promoting the idea that 'difficult' subjects are being dropped not because of PC gone mad but that teachers ind the subjects too difficult to deal with, having met a few teachers in my time I can easily believe this as being the real reason behond any non teaching of the holocaust, crusades etc
