Goldie, cheers for the mail mate, it helped to give me a bit of structure for certain parts which has pushed me in the right direction, I was starting to get a bit lost in a plethora of information...very easy to get bogged down, when all I want to do is talk for twenty minutes, found I'd written that much on the origins of the religion alone!

Not a fan of writing these things, but it seems to be coming along now. Got four more weeks so not too much of a hurry.

BTW Kiwi, typically it was the last volume, and one of the last books, making it almost the last Ch VIII...and neither of the chapters either side were relevant  But then you probably knew that already

Hi druadan.

A History of the Arab People by Albert Hourani is a good read for the beginnings of Islam and it's development over the last 1300 years.

God's Terrorists by Charles Allen and The Islamist by Ed Husain are both excellent books covering Islams hijack by dickheads and it's subsequent link to violence.

Not connected to anything really. I just think it's funny. I watched it with the kids again the other day for about the 18th time

from Spaceballs

Having taken on board a demanding, stuck-up princess from the planet Druidia

Lone Star (the Han Solo character played by Bill Pullman): Oh great! That's all we needed, a Druish Princess.

Mog (the Chewbacca character played by John Candy): Funny, she doesn't look Druish!

And cue Frank Zappa song, in my head at least!

whack for the daddy 'ol
whack for the daddy 'ol

As I was going over the far famed Kerry mountains
I met with captain Farrell and his money he was counting.
I first produced my pistol, and then produced my rapier.
Said stand and deliver, for I am a bold deceiver,
