Holland and it's Health service

Post by Artist »

Heard today on the Today programme that one in twenty people who go to visit a doctor in Holland are wanting to have their life terminated due to illness. And the Doctors do it!!!! :o

If other countries follow this lead most of Europe is going to be uninhabited come the 22 century I reckon.

If got to a state where Alzheimer's had started to take over and all I had to look forward to is being double incontinent, and no more than a cabbage for quite a few years then yes i would rather have a needle than those extra few years of life. Now this is what I can't understand about all these people leading frugal lives to get an extra couple of years of life, and for what. What sort of life we you lead as an old person, lets face it you might as well enjoy all of life's vices while you can enjoy them for when you get old you are not up to so much. So just what are you saving your self for, now I can think of some great ways to go but old age is not one of them.
