Each one is a Commando unit, which help make up part of the Commando Brigade, which in turn helps to comprise the RMC (Royal Marines Corps). Depends on the ship: but to stretch the grey cells in addition to the GD role (which in itself can include a number of SQs) I can recall the following RM roles on board:

Boat drivers, Flag Waggers, Grease monkeys, Scribes, Blanket Stackers, errr and anyone else who might know me

Thru'pence ha'penny worth of original irishspit spent in Oman was a hard case to free a hump worse than yours
Am I missing something?

Have a skeg under the retirement and pensions boards for more info - hearing is virtually impossible now but....................

Area to avoid

There are no entry requirements for GCSE (or equivalent). Everyone joining will be given a NAMET assessment, either based on the education certificates you provide, or based on completion of a NAMET test paper, nothing scary it just assesses you.
