Good luck to you both,
With those scores you both have the physical fitness to pass the PRMC, so you will do if you want to. I,m sure you will.

Guys, Plain and simple, train HARD but also SENSIBLY. Putting in severe effort and being knackered at the end of a session does not mean you have to have trained 'outside your comfort zone'. I feel if you train outside the comfort zone every session you risk getting injured or having counter product...

Reading these stories just makes me feel so angry and fed up with whoever it is that allows these people to be on our streets. Why the F*** should decent people have to put up with this scum? I live in one of the known 'chavy/scum' area's of cheltenham, and see this kind of shite so much, that you w...

Joe, Thats exactly what i,m talking about mate. Above and beyond the physical sides there is a hell of lot of other stuff to keep on top of, and deal with. To me it rings true that if you can stick at it, the physical side of things will in the most part sort themselves out, but you have to be there...

A real shame, thoughts are with him and his family, and fingers crossed he can make the best possible kind of recovery from this situation. It really does hit home how lucky the majority of us are to have our health and fitness, and that, as in this case unfortunately it can be taken away. You just ...

AJ, I understand mate, but your post whilst did in one way talk about mental strengh, it was in the context of using mental strengh to get through physical apsects. It concentrated on the mental strengh to get 'one more rep out, make it another 500 metres' etc etc. What i was really talking about wa...

Everything you have written above has its fair share of truth, and your right there is alot of mental strengh needed to push the body on and on when really you,ve gone past your limits. BUT REMEMBER there is also a very different side of mental strengh needed for RT that is not physical at all. That...

Fro, If thats how you feel then you have certainly made the right choice not to carry on, so at least you,ve learnt a bit about what you want to do...or not do in this case. Fair enough, you've been honest with yourself and theres nothing wrong with that. Enjoy whatever else you decide to do! dwarfy

Fro88, Dont give up mate, use this as the kick up the backside and get out and really get stuck into the training. in 6 months you can really get yourself fit and go back and blitz the PRMC, there are loads of guys who fail it once, go back and pass. You say you feel like a tit for failing, fair eno...

Nice one RJG, See all that worrying for nothing hey!....still all it does is prove that it all means alot to you. Best of luck for RT and trust me, you will get sick of the galley food in time, say about a week when you realise its the same stuff all the time, still there's plenty of it so you cant ...
