Re: Royal Marines or PARAs

Why do we bother... Its gunner75..... not 78. Yes my caps lock key works. More to the point why should I be bothered about that when your on here asking bone idle questions? Fine you asked on here and you got various answers, but are you seriously telling me that as a 21 year old young man you're go...

Re: GRRRRRRR!!!

Re: Royal Marines or PARAs

are you mike golden in disguise? im sure the wise sorcerers at afco will politely tell you to go away and grow up a bit after about 5 minutes of hearing your waffle. no offence kid but its late and hearing 'i wanna join marines/paras to further my career as a stuntman' speaks volume about you. i don...

Re: Mentality

from 4para experience P-coy doesnt make bulk of the failures its the CIC beforehand that will break you. Id imagine this will be similar in the regs as by time test week arrives the wheat has been sorted from the chaff.

Re: A Rant

I think if our MOD didnt drag their heels, thought things through at times and took a similar stance to the US then there wouldnt be this 'us and them' attitude. I know how the regs feel anyway about stabs as i served in the regs, but i also witnessed it whilst at 4 Para and to be quite honest whils...

Re: A Rant

Would be interesting to know what unit? I'd confidently predict it wouldnt be 4 Para. Their all chomping at the bit for a scrap. I also think its a bit too easy to get out of an obligation in the stabs - but to me that says more about the individual than the unit. That said it shouldnt be so easy, l...

Re: A Happy Christmas not a 'merry' one,

I second that as iv found out the hard way. DONT do it. simple as that. no matter how sober you 'think' you are or how many hours have passed since last drink, or keeping to the quiet roads or driving in the early hours DONT do it. If you get caught over that 35mg limit your looking at a ban, a fine...

Re: Mentality

the ability to pick yourself up and carry on no matter how run down or brow beat you are from all the thrashings or rollockings. If your fit enought you will be ok but without the mental ability to overule a body that at times due to being constantly on the move with heavy(ish) equipment, is screami...
