You could run it at 10.5kph and be well within the time (14 minutes including time for the treadmill to speed up). Not saying you should aim for the minimum though...

Well if it actually is 2.7 miles then the difference is 480m, fact. A tenth of a mile isn't 20 metres...

I wouldn't say 2.7 miles is just under 3 miles.. The extra 480 metres would take your 20:58 to around 23:20 ish at the same pace.
