Mancunian kid I dont think your VO2 max was ever 11 or 12 as this would mean you either have the largest VO2 max ever recorded (if in Litres/min) or you get out of breath walking (if in ml/kg/min) Sorry buddy I think you need to check your numbers. :) Haha no mate i should of said on the bleep test...

You dont have to but no harm if you do. If you do it every morning and night it will become a set routine for you and will only be good for you. When i get up i bang out maxium and same before i go to bed. Plus during my workout i day i do 4 sets of 25 or pyramids etc.... Do what feesl good for you ...
